Gold American Eagle
These coins are made from 22-karat gold, containing 91.67% gold, 5.33% copper, and 3% silver. They come in various denominations: 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz.
The obverse features Augustus Saint-Gaudens' famous Lady Liberty design, while the reverse showcases a family of eagles, designed by sculptor Miley Busiek.
Silver American Eagles
These are one of the most popular silver bullion coins globally. Minted with one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, they have a nominal face value of one dollar.
The obverse design features Adolph A. Weinman's Walking Liberty, while the reverse showcases John Mercanti's heraldic eagle with shield and thirteen five-pointed stars.
Platinum American Eagles
Introduced in 1997, these coins are composed of .9995 fine platinum. They are available in 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz denominations.
The obverse depicts the Statue of Liberty, while the reverse features various depictions of eagles, depending on the year of mintage.
Palladium American Eagles
The newest addition to the American Eagle family, palladium coins were first minted in 2017. They contain one troy ounce of .9995 fine palladium.
The obverse design is a modified version of Adolph A. Weinman's "Winged Liberty" design, while the reverse features a high-relief rendering of an eagle perched on a rock.
